Tenacious Styrofoam - the Poem

Wait, here it is ...

Styrofoam, tenacious foe
Loosened on this mortal coil
of kitchen table, limb and lash
ever-clinging static ash,
ever-clinging bead and sphere
I brush away, but you adhere
From fingertips to fingertips
My polystyrene nemesis

Thank you and goodnight.

  1. Whenever Laurie sees styrofoam now she smiles and chuckles.
