So, what is a rodelbahn? It's a gravity-propelled, you-controlled rollercoaster. You have hand-brakes. That's it. You are powered up an Alpine hillside, click-click-click, then released downhill to run the course.

You can click on this photo to get a better view, but you go up the left side, then are released at the top. You don't want to ride behind me because I ride the brakes nervously.
